We have worked closely with Roseway Care Home since 2019 helping to shape their garden into an accessible and tranquil place that residents and families can both enjoy.
We worked with staff, families and residents to find out what were important features for their garden and created lots of new planting areas, a bird spotting area and even a children’s corner for visitors and potentially an outdoor playgroup too.
It was an amazing experience to work alongside Roseway residents, most of which are living with dementia and many are wheelchair-bound.
As part of our development work, we held sessions for the residents to get involved with alongside local children doing planting, bug hunts, birdfeeders, bunting and lots more.
This was an excellent project to be involved with and knowing the garden will continue to create tranquillity and well-being for all residents, families and staff is heart-warming and we are really proud to have been part of it.
