We were awarded funding from the National Lottery to deliver a project during lockdown that we hold very close to our hearts.
The project focused on reducing isolation in our elderly community by creating eco craft bags for residents of care homes and also people living in their own homes in our local area.
This project was a huge hit and the feedback was fantastic. We worked in partnership with care homes and local organisations to get the craft bags to the people who really needed them.
Williby Roc’s CIC are amazing!! Garden Hill residents absolutely love making up all the fantastic little mixed activities that came in the bags provided. The bird feeder strings are a massive hit with both the residents and the wildlife we have here, which we love watching here 💗🐦🐿 it’s like the gift that keeps giving!!
