Bilton Hall Community Trust were awarded funding in Spring 2017 from the Greener with Greggs Community Foundation and Port of Tyne to improve the community garden at Bilton Hall.

Williby Roc’s were commissioned to deliver sessions that focused around the use and practicality of the centres garden, inspiring the community, attracting wildlife, social inclusion and learning about the wonderful world around us.

The sessions were created to inspire the children about their environment and give them a sense of ownership and responsibility about their community. A reduce, reuse, recycle and repurpose ethos ran throughout all of the activities and everything that we did.

We would like to thank all 26 families that took part in our first Project Dirt, we could not have done it without you. Big thanks to Bilton Hall Community Trust for choosing Williby Roc’s to deliver this project and also to Greggs and Port of Tyne for awarding the funding to make this fabulous project possible!
