How we use your personal information
We will only ask you to provide us with basic details in order for us to provide our service to you. We will ask for a booking name, children’s names and ages, email address and telephone number to book your space on events, workshops and parties. This information helps us to provide a personalised service and to ensure effective communication with you.
Your personal information is stored on a secure database and is used to send up to information on up and coming events and monthly newsletters. You have the option to opt in or out of this service.
We will not pass on your details to anyone other organisation without your prior consent.
Risk and Assessments
All of our sessions are risk assessed for any possible dangers to you and your family. These are available to you upon request and will set out risks, rating of the risk (low, medium or high), the control measures we put in place, the new rating of risk once control measures have been put in place and who is responsible for completing the control measures.
Some of our events and workshops will carry an element of risk as children are encouraged to thrive independently and learn new skills. We will sometimes use tools with children in sessions. This tool use will be on a 1:1 ratio where our team will work directly with each child individually. For these sessions a risk/benefit assessment will be made to show the benefits to the child and why we have decided to include that activity.
As our events and workshops are aimed at families, you are responsible for the safety of your child. It is your judgement whether your child is capable and whether you would like them to take part in the activity.
We are covered for up to £5,000,000 public liability insurance which includes indoor and outdoor education. Our Public Liability Insurance Policy can be made available to you upon request.
Use of photographs
During our sessions we may take photos to document activities and learning. We will ask for permission prior to any photographs being taken and will also ask you to sign a photograph permission form. Once you sign the form then we have automatic rights to use the photographs for any promotional material including social media and our website. We will not use any photographs that we do not have permission for.
